renovations are still hot for upcoming open day

Christine, Sam, Steve, Marc, weavers and friends are renovating frantically in preparation of the opening of the new premises of Dunedin's LoomRoom on April 28th.

The works have been executed by volunteers and are all self funded. The LoomRoom will house around 30 looms for production of high class design goods and skill sharing of the weaving craft. We built a fully insulated room so groups can meet and learn weaving together in a comfortable ambience.

The LoomRoom will open on April 28th at the Valley Community Workspace at 11 Allen St with a open day from 10.00 - 2.00

Student works will be on display as well as some woven goods by Christine for sale. The display will then be open to public on Sunday 29th 11.00 -.2.00 and Monday to Wednesday from 10. 00- 2.00 in association with Fashion iD

Classes are held in 8 weeks blocks and will start next in late June 2018
