Montreal 2003, a Social Scan

Thinking about the things that money can and cannot buy, I asked the people around me for one of their woollen jumpers.

I turned these with help of shibori tie-dye technique and a designer label of my brand into Unique Art Objects.

These were then arranged in the gallery in a way to resemble an expensive shop. People loved them and wanted to go shopping but these were not for sale, as they still belonged to and were given back to their initial owners. We did have a lovely 'non shopping' party though.

If you wanted to show off the brand and label, you had to lift your arm, as I sewed them into the armpit.
